SUN BRAVE

* We have received reports that the general cargo ship SUN BRAVE (IMO: 9754977) ran aground while navigating in shallow waters off Nakato Island in the Kurushima Strait, Japan, on 26 April, 2024.

* It is reported that the vessel was subsequently refloated with tug assistance and has moved to anchor at Imabari anchorage for inspection.

* It is possible that General Average/Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
